Mauri and Lacey Villasenor
Denver, CO

"Mauri Villasenor and his wife, Lacey, enjoy spending time outdoors—hiking 14ers, camping by rivers, or sitting by a fire—usually joined by their two golden retrievers. Lacey works with the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and together they share a strong passion for building and growing the local church. Mauri's life was radically changed after an encounter with Jesus at 17, and ever since, there is nothing he would rather do than tell people about Jesus. That’s why he’s spent the last 12 years in vocational ministry as a youth pastor and then a campus pastor at Lakepointe Church’s fastest growing campus in Dallas, TX. He received his BA in Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University and is currently furthering his studies at SWBTS. In 2024, God began to burden him for the many young families and professionals who are unchurched in Northern Colorado. Recognizing this gospel opportunity, Mauri and Lacey are excited to join in what God is already doing in Northern Colorado. They trust that through their obedience and commitment to Jesus, God will continue to build His church and change lives."
